Register in SportsConnect
You will need to register as a volunteer in SportsConnect. In order to complete your registration you will need to provide a copy of your Safesport Certificate, Concussion Training Completion, Driver's License and a profile picture. We have provided instructions in Quick Links. If you have any issues, please email the registrar.
Background Check
You can either use OYSA’s Affinity System (click here) or through Sports Connect (see above) when you register as a volunteer. If you have issues logging on to OYSA Affinity system, please contact Desia at [email protected]. It takes a couple days for approval so do this as soon as possible.
SafeSport Certification
You must complete the SafeSport Certification annually. Once completed you will need to load a copy into Affinity, the system you do your background check (link above). If you cannot load it, email a copy to the [email protected].
Concussion Training
All Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Team Managers need to complete a free concussion training. You will need to load a copy of the certificate of completion to your Affinity account or email a copy to the registrar. You can choose which program you'd like to use:

Coach Code of Conduct
Please read and sign the Coach Code of Conduct. You will need to a copy to your Affinity account or email a copy to the registrar.
