Carla Phelps

REGISTRAR

I have been involved with the Oregon City Soccer Club for many years. As club registrar I have the opportunity to network with many members of our community. There is nothing more fulfilling than watching children learn and grow from a sport they love. All four of my children grew up playing within the club. It was a great foundation for them both on and off the field, learning rules, respect and of course soccer. Outside of the club I work full time for Clackamas County and enjoy spending time traveling, camping and spending time with my family.

Jeana Monfils

SECRETARY

I’m a soccer mama! I’m new to soccer and still learning all I can about this sport. My daughter is on her third season with OCSC and we absolutely love this club. I hold the position of secretary for the club and help volunteer at as many soccer events as possible. My hope is to grow with the club and continue to meet other soccer parents and children.

Jon Benjamin

VICE PRESIDENT
FIELD COORDINATOR

I have been involved with Oregon City soccer club for the past 20 years. I am currently the acting Vice President and Field Manager. Being the Vice president allows me to gain knowledge and become well rounded in the procedures of the club. I take great pride in my role as the Field manager as this allows me to provide safe fields for our players, guests and the ability to enjoy the outdoors. I also enjoy coaching, teaching and mentoring kids into young productive adults in our community. Youth soccer is about kids having fun, making new friends and learning to work together as a team. What we all must remember “It’s for the KIDS.”

Brandi Shrives

TREASURER COORDINATOR

I have been involved with soccer most of my life. Starting out as a 3rd grader and playing all through high school. Even continuing to play after high in the indoor world. My passion now has shifted to coaching and developing the skills of the young kids to get them ready for competitive soccer. As an Oregon City native and of the surrounding areas it’s important to me to be involved in an organization that prides themselves on teaching children to have fun while playing soccer. My other hobbies include camping, riding the dunes with my family and friends, and being involved in the community as much as I can. If you see me out please feel free to stop and say hi!

Tayla Purcell

MEMBER AT LARGE

Being on the OSSC board is the next thing I am doing in relationship with soccer. I started playing right here in Oregon City when I was 7, I lived is various places and played soccer in them all. I played on competitive teams as I got older and loved going to tournaments, being with my teammates and having the privilege of representing my state at a regional’s tournament. I started coaching in high school with my Mom and I was hooked, I have coached for the last 10 years straight. I started with the little ones and continued up through 13 year olds, both boys and girls. Our program is a community of families, friends, kids and coaches all working together to support each other to build something wonderful. I know what an impact being on a team was for me and I am committed to providing a program here in Oregon City in which kids can find a healthy place to grow.
